• Q: What is happening, what will I experience?

  A: Beginning April 15^th, 2009 LAUNCHcast and LAUNCHcast Plus Radio will be removed and will no longer be accessible from the Yahoo! Music Canada site. All radio stations, including personalized and pre-programmed radio stations will cease to function at that time. Prior to April 15^th, we will be removing certain [pre-programmed radio] stations. Please read below for full details on how the services will be affected.

• Q: Will pre-programmed radio stations be affected?

  A: Yes. All LAUNCHcast stations, including pre-programmed radio stations will be discontinued and will no longer function as of April 15^th, 2009.

• Q: What is happening with the personalized 'my station'?

  A: The personalized ‘my stations’ in LAUNCHcast and LAUNCHcast Plus will be discontinued, along with all other stations, as of April 15^th, 2009.

• Q: What is happening with Fan stations?

  A: Fan Stations in LAUNCHcast and LAUNCHcast Plus will be discontinued, along with all other stations, beginning April 15^th, 2009.

• Q: Can I still search for user stations after this date?

  A: No, all existing LAUNCHcast and LAUNCHcast Plus stations will be discontinued and removed from the site, beginning April 15^th, 2009.

• Q: Can I still rate artists, albums and songs in LAUNCHcast and LAUNCHcast Plus?

  A: Until April 15^th, 2009 you may continue to rate artists, albums or songs, however, these ratings will be removed from the site and will no longer be accessible to you beginning on April 15^th, 2009.

• Q: What is happening with users’ LAUNCHcast radio ratings?

  A: Beginning April 15^th, 2009, users will no longer have access to their radio ratings from their LAUNCHcast and LAUNCHcast Plus radio stations, but their video and artist ratings history and all future ratings of videos, albums, artists, songs and genres throughout the Yahoo! Music site will continue to influence their profile page and their music recommendations.

• Q: What is happening with my subscription to LAUNCHcast Plus?

  A: We are discontinuing the LAUNCHcast Plus service on April 15^th, 2009. All of the exclusive stations only available with a Plus subscription will be discontinued along with all LAUNCHcast stations.

• Q: I am a Rogers Yahoo! subscriber. How does this affect my LAUNCHcast Plus stations?

  A: LAUNCHcast Plus stations will no longer be available to Rogers Yahoo! Subscribers after April 15^th, 2009.

• Q: Can I still listen to LAUNCHcast in Yahoo! Messenger?

  A: No. The LAUNCHcast plug-in on Yahoo! Messenger will also be discontinued.

• Q: Can I still watch videos on Yahoo! Music?

  A: You can still enjoy our catalogue of thousands of music videos, as well as rate and share videos and create personalized video stations.

• Q: Will the loss of radio affect my video recommendations?

  A: No. Past video ratings history and all future ratings of videos will continue to influence your video recommendations.

• Q: Is Yahoo! Music Canada closing?

  A: Absolutely not. We are continually working on improving our Music services to create a better experience for our users. We are committed to giving you the best of music videos, information, pictures and news on the Web about your favourite music.
